About The Course
The UK Government widely believes that those who wish to settle in the United Kingdom should be encouraged to play a full part in their wider community. From 2 April 2007 all applicants for indefinite leave to remain (settlement) will need to provide evidence that they have passed either the Life in the UK test or an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Studying for and taking the test will give you the practical knowledge you need to live in this country and to take part in society. Life in the UK Test give you the knowledge you need to take the test. you can do this in two ways: by taking the Life in the UK Test or by taking combined English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and citizenship classes.
